1st Visit to Turf Club

OOo... this is so back dated! Singapore Turf Club (the Kranji one), went there for the first time on Saturday after my tuition at admiralty! Wow.. an eye opener! Hehe... My cousin... Ah Hui's last day, so my two aunties, granny and her sis and myself went to gave her support! She worked in Turf as a stablehand...

Her passion for horses is really impressive! Imagine... A NUS graduate... gave up an engineer job offering (starting pay about 3k) and work as an aprrentice in New Zealand stable. Despite the many objections from my family members, she went there alone and has to deal with many issues from housing, racism, working in a male dominating environment and etc... She is really tough and great! Give her credit on her bravery!

Anyway back to Turf... So its my first visit there... Hmmm.. kinda impress with the designation of the place. Evrything is cool.. except.. for the amount of RUBBISH! So much for clean and green Singapore ehz... The seating areas are filled with betting tickets, empty bottles, horsey manuals and newspapers and etc... Poor cleaners, the amount of waste they have to clear! Gosh... Singaporeans (actually quite a number of malaysians) do some reflection on the littering habits!

Just a bit of side tracks... This year is the year of leaving for my Family!

Feburary : My brother left for Australia
March: My Eldest cousin Ah Hui left for New Zealand
April: Me... Missy Lin leaving for States
May: My another cousin Ming leaving for Europe; Joyce leaving for Germany
June..... We will c... hehe...

Dinner with Ah yi

Today.. well actually not today.. was last friday (17 Mar 2006), had dinner with my aunt (who juz got back from states) and my two other cousin (Ming and Joyce) at Rice Table. The indonesia food buffet is so so filling! The dinner was a great one.. not eactly referring to the food.. I mean the food is great but the quality time spent with them is much greater!!

Haha.. we talked alot about when the 3 of us were young, what are the "CUTIE" things we did! All of us will always pretend to be sleeping (so the adults will leave us alone) but we will always end up be really sleeping! Hahaha! Sigh.. how to wish to be little again! We will only worry about the minimal thing... play and study and cartoons.... Awww

3 young ladies.. Joyce, Me and Ming Ming

Trying to mimick Joyce how she sleeps when she was young! Haha! She must have some kind of body contact with someone while she sleeps... to be secure

Joyce and Our forever youthful and young Ah Yi! Guess how old she is?

After Rice Table.. Hehe.. we went for our dessert! GELATO... Well, this gelato (the one outside Lido) is not really good. The gelatos are too sweet.. think they add too much sweetener inside! Bad dessert! Hehe.. but Good.. at least i didnt over eat that day!

Crash @ GV GRAND

Went to catch "Crash" (with wenyong @ GV), with his cool black bike! hahaha! Anywa the movie starred Matt Dillon, Sandra Bullock, Don Cheadle, Terrence Howard, Thandie Newton, Ludacris, Brendan Fraser, Ryan Phillippe, and Larenz Tate. The story is set in LA and the story plot, very artistically inter-twined lives of racially and economically diversified group of people together. The intereaction and intersection between events and people (probably that is why its titled CRASH) are intriguing, funny (at times) and dynamic.

Crash definitely score in depicting the world obvious problem of racisim and stereotyping. Stressing on the fact that beyond the colours we are just mere humans. A show which is worth watching and giving a penny of thought.

A Brentwood housewife (Sandra Bullock), her DA hubby (Brendan Fraser) and assistant (Nona Geya).

Gun store owner (Jack McGee), Security Guard (Jayden Lund), Farhad (Shaun Toub) and Dorri (Bahar Soomekh); Farhad, a persian storeowner trying to purchase a gun to protect his shop, with his daughter Dorri.

Officer Thomas Hansen (Ryan Phillippe, Ooo I love this guy); A newbie in the police force; full of idealistic view.

Daniel (Michael Pena); A Hispanic lock smith aka sweet dad and hubby, Love the way he coax his daughter, who was hiding underneath the bed upon hearing a gunshot.

From Left: Ria (Jennifer Esposito) and Det. Graham Waters (Don Cheadle); Two police detectives who are LOVERS.

Peter (Larenz Tate) and Anthony (Chris "Ludacris" Bridges); two car thieves who are constantly theorizing on society and racism

Christine Thayer (Thandie Newton) and Officer Ryan (Matt Dillon); The officer who molested the wife (christine) of a black hollywood director turns out to be her life saviour... to be grateful or to be hateful?

Cameron Thayer (Terence Dashon Howard); The Black successful director

Quote from the show: "It's the sense of touch. In any real city, you walk, you know? You brush pass people, people bump into you. In L.A., nobody touches you. We're always behind this metal and glass. I think we miss that touch so much, that we crash into each other, just so we can feel something."

Ohh.. bump into robin(My ex bf..who i took years to get over) at Great world! But i hide at a corner watching him buy his drink from the counter! Hmm.. feel weird... but at least I'm not very much affected by him already... I think Hmmm...

JB Trip

Today is quite a fruitful day, went JB (Johor Bahru) with Shaun aka biao ger (I call him wei ming biao ger! Cos somehow under the huge family tree, we r linked in a way.. juz really distance kind, hehe!). Really shag from this trip man! Hmm.. but its definitely a place to test your haggle ability! Hahaha! I'm kinda impressed by my own bargaining skill! I pretend that I know this sales person (they have an outlet in Singapore) in singapore so as to get a better discount! Haha.. Duhz.. the thing I do to get discounts! Haha!

List of things Missy Lin bought:

1. Two pairs of Shoes from VINCCI (having SALES)
2. 1 pair of black shorts
3. 2 tops
4. some local delights
5. 3 pairs of earrings
6. hair clips / accessories
7. Packed a HUGE bao at the very end of the trip ( approximately 12 cm in diameter)
8. Chewing Gums... (being DESTROYED.. HAHA)
Huge Huge BAO, size of my face Ooo..
Lists of food Consumed:

1. Curry Fish Head (Listed top 10 in Makansutra)
2. Papaya
3. Macdonald Ice Tea (It tasted different.. as compared to singapore's Mac)
4. Viking Hotdog (Biao Ger like this)
5. Porridge
6. Sambal Stingray.... YUM YUM..

The trip was fantastic! The food, the shopping, no major traffic and so... everything was great! Hahaha.. so we thought... till we reached the Singapore custom where we need to declare goods like wine, cigarette (Shaun bought 3 hard packs) and stuff, Shuan got stopped! Haha! And obviously, the female officer ransacked his bag and found the 3 packs! Haha.. And I... Stupidly... forgotten about the fact that I bought gums, went towards Shuan and waited for him! The officer then checked my bag and found the gums... We followed the officer into the office where Shaun had to pay tax for the cigarettes and I have to write down my name on this book cos of the gums! What's the book for? Haha.. to signified that I have witnessed the "DESTRUCTION" of the gums... Hahaha!

Procedure for DESTRUCTION

1. Open wrapper of gums
2. Take each and every stick of gum out...
3. Halves each stick
4. Throw to DUSTBIN

P.S: all these must be done in the presence of gum OWNER; Signature of owner must be attained!

Hahaha! Gosh! I laughed so hard after I left the officer... LAME!! Think the officer is just bored and want to catch Shuan.. so she can have a conversation with him! Hahaha.. Biao ger too HANDSOME lo...

All in all.. its a real good experience! Never expect my first trip (alone w/o parental guidance) to JB will be such an interesting one.

Go Again?? Hmm....

Boring; IRRIATATING Osim Advertisement

Today is relatively a boring day... Feeling real tired now! Dunno why, probably becos of the damn weather! So so fucking hot! You just dont feel like doing anything (Ok.. not a very good reason to slack) anyway this is just so! And once again I'm moody! Think its my PMS.. Arrgghh... Hate it! MOODY?Missy? Just look at the way I write this blog.... Damn!

Now its 638pm. Have an hr plus to go before I will go teach Joel (my cousin!). He is always finding ways to skip tuition. Lazy.. But what to do.. I still need to teach no matter what! Argghh!
Ooo.. Today I've seen one of the most irritating commercial ever! The OSIM UZap commercial! Darn! Show such a irritating commercial during my mood swing. Makes me even more irritated! Almost wanna throw my remote control (but apparently I'm more level-headed to juz switch the channel with the control) on the TV screen when it show the commercial. The commercial will goes: "Zap zap tummy, Zap zap tummy, Zap zap tummy, Zap zap butt, Zap zap butt. Zap zap butt, Zap zap tigh, Zap zap tigh, Zap zap tigh and Zap Zap zap" STUPID STUPID FREAKING IRRITATING ADVERTISMENT! DAMN... Darn!
The only best thing that happened today is the DUCK RICE! Ate so so much.. Food always taste better when u eat with someone! I ate with my parents and 2 aunts.. so this meal tasted exceptionally great cos ever since zf left, I never really eat that duck rice! Hmm.. a satisfying and fattening meal! What you ate today Missy? Well well.. its nothing, just mac nuggets, Bo lo Bao, Thai fried Beancurd, Gadu gadu, two curry puffs and DUCK RICE! Hmm.. U sure u r going on a DIET?

Hope Tomorrow will be a better day!!!

To Queenstown

Went Queenstown Shopping center today with YJ. First time I did shopping in the shopping center! I mean I have been to Queenstown shopping center but I have never stepped into the clothing shops. hmmm... I can never go to this place myself! Seems so out of place... think got to rely on YJ hahaha!!

Shall take a picture of the top and bottom I bought, tomorrow or lets just say by this week eh.. then will place it here and people.. Justify YJ's taste wor... hahaha!

After the fruitful shopping trip, both of us head down to Holland Village (YJ's territory) and had Crystal Jade for dinner. Here comes the best part!! Haha... Dessert! Guess what we have for dessert?? Fondue.. Not just any fondue.. Its Haagen Daz Chocolate Fondue with assorted fruits and cookies and small ice-cream balls that are prepared for the dipping into the thick melted chocolate (I dun like Chocolate.. Juz like the dipping part!) or strawberry syrup! (Its really a beautiful dessert.. sad both of us didnt bring camera along. So no PICTURE! No worries, YJ said we will eat it again! So will get the picture then!) Haha... Yeshy.. Deadly Sinful especially for me! DIET MISSY, DIET!

Ok.. After our sinful dessert, we went to YJ's hideout where he visits whenever he is down. Nice cooling place, we stayed there for quite sometime and had a real long conversation till it gets too windy and we decided to head back! YJ always thanks me for going out with him, I dun understand why?!? Think I should be the one thanking him instead! Busy guy (he packs himself with so so many tuitions and on top of tt.. he is in NIE) like him actually finds joy hanging out with bugs like me (cos' I have nothing to do and rot my life away!) Ooo.. and he always pay! So PAI SAY! Think this time round to states, got to buy him real great present. Mister... Thanks for ur companion and treats k?!
Diet! Dun EAT so MUCHY!

Brokeback mountain

Brokeback Moutain, based on a short story written by E. Annie Proulx detailing the epic love story between a Wyoming ranch hand and a rodeo cowboy who met in the summer of 1963.

Ooo.. No tuition today!! Initial plan was to slack whole day.. but my cousin, Joyce, called and i end up going out with my aunt, cousin and aunt's best friend (Chee Boon) for dinner in mache and we caught the movie, Brokeback Mountain! Yesh... another movie... and YESH... another movie about sexual issues! Whats wrong with you Missy? I dunno.. maybe I'm having some sexual identity crisis...so these movies helped!! Haha.. kidding.. I'm just being nonsensical!

Cutie Hunks during their first summer in Brokeback as sheep herders

Ok Ok... back to the movie! This show starred Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal. In 1963, a passionate love ignites between a rodeo cowboy and a ranch hand. The short summer love turns into a life long loving relationship and resulted in deep, passionate yearning for each other. Think the story should be viewed and admired more in the aspect of.. the kind of connection two humans can have rather than... Oooo Eeee its a gay show.. Yucks... the two hunks are making out! Though I agree it can be quite disturbing for some (Like Rujin {Esther's Darling} who had his MSN Nick "Stupid Brokeback" for weeks!), try looking beyond. Think the emphasis on two guys making out is too overwhelming and its of the wrong focus! hehe...

This is the sad last part.. "I promise"

Hmm.. somehow reminds me of my relationship with Yuri. A summer relationship that somehow had a certain impact in my life. Probably not as affectionate and deep (I hope its not.. else I would die) as the show but its definitely something that affect me quite alot! Hmmz... SAD!

The Best Romance are Often Sadly, Romance that Cannot be attained
Ok... Something which I forgotten to add n YJ reminded me.. My first Salsa's experience!! Haha... After the show, Joyce and me went to a salsa's club in Amara Hotel at Tanjong Pagar. Its kinda different from the clubs and pubs (U know.. Zouk, Momo, China Black n stuff) I've been to, where some people dance hysterically under the music volume which is beyond human's healthy decible range. Anyway, the dancing area has lines drawn on the floor, I figured that it's probably for people to enjoy their dance without causing much disturbance to neighbouring dancing couples. The music played are salsa dancing kind of music (U know.. Latin and stuff), at a volume level where normal conversation can be held.
The club, on a whole, is a nice, new experience except for the sugar daddy part! Haha.. two daddies tried to pick me up for a dance!! Hahaha... offered to teach me to dance when I said its my first time here! Offered me beers and drinks when its ladies night!! Hahaha! Hello Uncles... I can get free drinks Ooo! Will definitely visit the club again.. but will dress up more appropriately (I went with slippers and 3/4 jeans) the next time.

TransAmerica...

hoho... slept at 6 am this morning!! Now (1.37pm) really tired even if i slept till 11 plus! Why did u sleep so late Missy? Bahz... my aunt got back from states a day or two ago. Then she had a long conversation with me of what I'm planning to do, what I wanna do, and of cos trying her very best to convince me to go for my convocation! Gosh.. She makes it sound so major when I said I have no intention of attending my convo... She goes on bladdering about how the convo will signified a closure, marking a significant end to your 20s (which I dont want it to be marked.. or I should I just said I dun wan it to end!) and education, embarking a new journey of life (welcome University of THE world), saying I should do this for my parents and emphasize doing it for myself (which is weird.. cos I dun wanna do it) and ya da ya da... Oooo... really a tedious long night!

Ok.. enough of the convo thingy! Shall write something more entertaining.. Hmm.. how about my movie date with YJ. Hahaha! We went PS to watch "TransAmerica" starring Felicity Haffman and Kevin Zegers (Real handsome chap... Ooo.. Drooling). Kinda disturbing show with all the penisssss showing (esp. woman body with penis.. not trying to commit hate crime here! sorry if it sounds like I'm anti-trans or something.. I'm not!! Just first time watching show that is so BARE!!) but still its humourous -- had a few good laughs. Wanna synopsis of the show? (Nope?.. I dun care, gonna write it anyway.) Haffman (as Bree aka Stanley) a woman in the making (preparing for the final Op) found out that he had a teenage son (Zegers as Toby) he never knew about. She (think I better use "SHE") bailed Tony out and both of them starts a journey back to California. Alot of twists and turns where they get to know about each other more, basically its a show depicting father (or should I say mother) son relationship.

Just a few thoughts, actually I think this film also show us how many people view trans as weirdos, freaks and well... what I'm trying to say is our world is not really as accepting as we portray! Especially in America where they talked about freedom, no discrimination against races, genders and what nots, but I feel its more of a preaching.. How many humans can really be fully 100% not racist, show no favouritism, no stereotyping! Its human nature eh... we tend to be less recieving and need more time to accept things or people who are with very obvious differences i.e. skin colour, religion and so on...

Anyway just to add, Felicity Huffman really did a great act here! YJ and me came out of the movie, still wondering is she a man or woman... Hmmm...

Then after which we went for dinner (ThaiExpress! yum Yum) and had a long walk looking for dessert after that! But.. Guess what we end up eating? hehehe... Macdonald's cone ice-cream for YJ and Strawberry Sundaes for me!! Hahaha! Once again so much for dieting! Oh.. did i mention I stuffed down a pack of $5.00 nuts (its nuts to pay so much for nuts.. well I did.. so I'm NUTS!) while watching the movie!! YJ really feeds me! thanks lehz... Really enjoy last night out.. Thanks ehz.. Hehe... On a whole its an enjoyable day except with the tiring conversation with my AUNT~~ I know she meant well.. but sometimes.. I just wanna make my own decision!

Be more HUMAN Humans...

day 1 w/o work

10am... woke up! feeling very satisfied.. cos i slept till the sun shines high and bright! Haha... Eat a real heavy breakfast, on top of all the breads and cereals I ate, I've eaten two bowls of dessert cos daddy cooked (yeshy.. my dad cook! ENVY?) so must eat! Yummy... but once again.. so much for dieting ehz?? Haha!

11am... Watch TV show... Rubbish program always infest the TV at these hours! So.. decided to blog! Waiting for 1 pm to come before i go teach Bryan!! Yesh! Today will get my tuition fee lo... $200 come to MaMa!! Ok.. now its 1230.. think i shall prepare and complete this entry later in the evening when I'm back! Chao Chao (ByeBye in Bulgaria)

7.41pm... Kosta (Whats up? In bulgaria).. Juz got home after giving tuition to my two tuition kids! Tiring and thirsty! Can someone just give me billion of dollars and I can just stop working? (Dream on Missy... Bah!!) Ok enough of nonsense.. Was at the interchange waiting for bus 852, then once again I saw those few kids (probably 15, 16 17 yrs old) with "charity vouchers" approaching everyone in the bus interchange! Sigh.. did I mention that i stupidly bought the voucher (cost me $10!! Arggh) yesterday even though I know it maybe for fake!

What is it with Singapore?? There are so so so many fund raising, flag days and charity vouchers? Every weekend without fail... you will see school kids with cans and sticker going around asking for donations! Used to be just weekends, then now even weekdays are infested with youngster trying to sell these vouchers or coupons in the name of CHARITY!! How true are all these fund raising? I'm really skeptical! But even being skeptical, I still bought the voucher from the two kids... and after buying I commented " go get a better temp job!", kinda rude ehz? But seriously... Teenagers dressed in the most fashionable form, some joking around with friends, asking for donations? (Ooo.. come on! its true!! Ok abit superificial here...) And I wonder how authentic are those licences (got to apply the license to prove one is authorised to sell in the name of charity) they are holding!! Singapore government should do something about all those fake fund raisings before it affects those real, sincere organisations which are really out to help those people in needs.

Ok.. think i whine too much over it! Forget it...

Last day ... Bye.. ENZER!!

Wow.. abit late for tuesday's entry but who cares!! Hahaha... Today its my last day (Should i say last half day) in ENZER finally! haha! No more boring entry! YUPPIE! Can sleep till late afternoon again... NOTZ... YOU have tuition MISSY Lin!! After my intensive (Cos dun wanna drag anymore wan the job to end!!) 3hrs of keying the price list, once again, I went to Mos... ordered a burger meal and sat there for an hr or two savouring my food and reading my new novel "The Number Devil" by Hans Magnus Ezensberger (a german writer i think.. hmmz), about 12 yrs old Robert who hates maths meeting the No. Devil in his dream, who explore maths in an amazing way!

After my lunch, I went to trim my forever messy hair and then go for tuition in CCK! Finally the student didnt postpone it! This student of mine is forever postponing tuition... but he is a nice boy! Shelter me all the way to the interchange after the tuition 'cos its raining!! Sweet boy Oooo... But lazy!!

Its 6pm lo... Meeting my date for dinner and movie (movie was kinda unplanned). We went Sakae for sushi... so so full! The best part of the dinner was the Mochi Ice cream..we ordered lychee and peach flavour, both taste great!! And all thanks to yj, stuffing his last bite (My mouth still filled with my own ice cream) to me and made my mouth so cold.. almost froze!!

730 pm... the movie (Big Momma's house 2) is going to start!! We quickly paid for our dinner and rush for the show... luckily we didnt miss any scenes! Haha... The show is plain crap and full of nonsense!! However its the lameness and stupidity of the show that made both of us laughed so hard! Very entertaining and nice show to watch for stress relieve... I love the little 3 yrs old boy in the show!! So cute.. Ooo.. feel like bringing him home! That Stupid yj prefers those doggies!! Cannot stand.. always compare doggy with baby!! Mister... Babies are Cute! Repeat after me... I love Baby!! Cute Baby! Dogs not equal to Baby! (haha... think he will kill me if he sees this entry!! hahaha!)

Date ended with a stroll down a Pa Sar Ma Lam near my house... Haha... very tempted to buy all those tibits! Its quite cheap... If by thursday its still there, then I will buy! But for now! No TIBITS Honey girl! Hahaha.. DIET!

Nice Date... Thanks Oooo.. My turn to treat the Next Time!
(but he always dun let me pay!) Probably only when his cashcard is out of $ $ $, then I will have a chance of paying!!!)

suppose to be last day

Today suppose to be last day of work in enzer (infact last friday should be) but they extended another day... sigh... but luckily its just for half a day! So i have whole afternoon for myself before i start my busy busy tuitions ohhh... Money Money Money!! hahaha!

Ooo.. i finished reading Mitch Albom's "Tuesdays with Morrie", another heartwarming story by Mitch Albom... This is about his college professor Morrie (Mitch addressed him "Coach") who taught Mitch about the living life and "dying well" through his last journey in life battling with this horrendous neurotic disease which slowly drained his life away day by day, hour by hour, minute by minute (feel really irky that such disease actually exist). This book served as a reminder of what really matters in life in this world full of dillusions and fake needs... Really inspired by this book.. nice one!!

AIESEC preparation seminar

Miss 1 day of blogging! Why? Cos I finally sent my laptop to repair!! Hopefully I can get it back by today! Hehe... Anyway I was at the AIESEC Seminar yesterday from 10 am to 330pm (its suppose to end at 1 but the whole seminar drag n drag!) Sigh.. and cos of the seminar, my tuitions are cancelled! there goes my income!! Poor poor me!

Ok... about the seminar! It was suppose to be a 2 day thingy! But i missed the saturday one.. well.. at least i made it to the second day one rightz? not that bad! Hmm.. quite an informative session! at least i kow better about AIESEC.. ok.. share abit of AIESEC background ehz? AIESEC actually first started by a group of european students after world war II! The whole purpose of this is to smooth the tension between the european countries and also for leadership building! Then from there, AIESEC moves beyond europe and become today's largest international organisations.

From the seminar I got to meet other SNs (Student Nominees) who are going for the exchange too... Sigh.. Everyone seems so capable, with double major, knowing 3rd language and so on! Feel so intimidated.. how to compete with people like them to get a match?? Think it will be really tedious man! But no harm trying ehz? At most go back to square one.. with no job thats all (mum will kill me for that)! hmm... come to think about it.. i cant be that bad eh? Afterall I have passed through the few selection rounds (Ok.. just trying to console myself.. hmm.. dun seems to work! Hack...) Anyway.. the people there are really nice and friendly! Hmmm.. even if i dun get a successful match think knowing the people there are worthwhile enough!

Then there is this girl who just came back from Sweden last friday... She was sharing with us her experience and how she gone through the tedious matching procedure! Think alot of SNs will just give up on the matching stage... at least I have a high tendency to.. hehe! Really pray that will have a good match! Hope to go Europe! Central europe or eastern europe! Cos Western europe and USA are very competitive! Have no confidence to be able to get a match! Worse comes to worst.. will go India else China!! hahaha!

Finally! I pass the Insight XP test for AIESEC!! So tough!! Not waiting for approval for the full access.. then I could start searching for my intern company lo!! Pray pray everything will go smoothly!

PRAYING REAL HARD Ooooo....

Saturday, March 04, 2006

today.. saturday

A lazy and unproductive day... think the only sensible thing i did today was to have supper with my daddy! See.. so much for going on an diet!! Ate like pig these two days.. think got to stop such horrendous eating habit of mine...

Hmm... oh ya.. my brother called today from australia!! miss him so.. now nobody snatches remote control with me.. i have the tv all by myself and guess what? i stop watching.. as in i dun watch as much as i used to when he was around! hmm.. problematic ehz? at this time of the day he would always come in and start making fun of me.. punching me.. squashing me.. sigh.. Just pray that everything will go smoothly for him over in Perth and come home fast!!

Ohh... my dad did something real sweet for my brother the other day.. He.. being some one that is not very much educated wrote an email for my brother!! He is so cute.. seeing him with all those dictionary and thesaurus around him (he dunno the difference between dictionary and thesaurus.. so he uses both).. trying to construct the sentences.. Then finally he asked me.. how to spell BYE!! hahaha! Then he complains abt how long he never attempt to write and stuff... aww.. there u go.. one sweet dad! my DAD!! But the ironic thing is that my dad reads.. he can read the papers and understand everything.. but he just cant write! I wonder why... hmm...

Well well.. nothing interesting or fantastic happened today! Juz finished watching Triple X on AXN! Hope tomorrow will be more interesting and where's my dearie?? miss him so.. never sees him online these two days oooo hope to see him soon...

Its friday...

Finally... my long awaited weekend is here!! Stepping to the next week.. and i'm still fat! feeling even fatter now that I ate so so much today! Had Crystal Jade high tea alone today while waiting for my girlfriend ah ping!! The greedy me.. besides being satisfied with juz a high tea set (serves with drink, a butter bun and macaroni soup with pork!) I ordered another french toast! Did i mention before that i ate a small pastry? hmm..anyway after i met ah ping.. we went and grab an ice-cream waffle... n when i reached home.. my dad force me to finish the fried rice which he left for me.. and after that i ate this 2 sponge cake and abit of pork floss while watching America Idol!!! See.... how fat i'm feeling now!! gosh.. what r you thinking missy LIN!!

Ok.. enough of foods.. abit on america idol!! today.. one of my favourite got voted out!! sad... he is so cute... David Radford... should have stayed longer.. so i can see him more!! hmm.. Jose "sway" Panala also got voted out.. well WHY?? I think he is kinda good with his singing, probably not as cute... but he is charming in his way.. Oooo.. really hope to see them perform in the future!! Oh.. as for the female side... Brenda and Heather got voted out! Kinda surprise that Brenda was with the lowest number of votes! she wasnt that bad... at least she sang better than Heather...(juz personal opinion, not bias or anything!!!) hmm.. ok dun wanna talk about america idol no more.. lets go back to my friday...

Ok.. did i mention.. i went to the career fair in Suntec? Haha... but i wasnt exactly looking for jobs.. just went to have a look at the post-grad programmes other universities offers... Ironic ehz? I... wanna study again? Ooo... to think i always skip classes, lectures and only prepares myself for exams when its too late... Ok.. its not very important... Just speculating what other choices I have other than start working!! Cos I really have no idea what i wan to work as!! Dun wanna just plunge into a career(cos everyone seems to be doing so, at least tt's what my parents wan)! Sigh.. problematic!

Ok.. lets round things up.. missy is tired here.. Just wanna add that the best part about this whole friday is that i had a half day off from work and I met up with ah ping to catch the movie... "Rumour has it" casting Jennifer Aniston (as sarah). Its so funny... unwind myself from my lifeless life (hmm.. corny.. lifeless life? So is it a life?). Anyway the whole movie.. I love Shirley macLaine (Sarah's Grandma.. Catherine) the best.. she is so cool in the movie! Had sex with BB (by Kevin Costner, sorry forgot his name in the show juz remember its BB) when he was just 21.. hahaha! "Dun call me Grandma", Shit this Shit that... hahaha.. full of shit!! Ooo...mark ruffalo (playing as Sarah's boyfriend) the nice nice lawyer boyfriend! Forgive sarah even though she slept with BB... do such guy exist? hmm.. wonder wonder...

Part time at ENZER

Oooo... Sorry ahz.. my midnight or part-time bf.. haha.. didnt pick up the morning call u gave! Overslept! (Yesh.. i'm a pig) but luckily i was still punctual for my work!! Day 4...

Like i said...Today is my 4th day working in Enzer. Now its 3.45pm and everyone is talking away... going to the canteen to buy coffees, teas and snacks... why so?? Well.. cos the power seems to be overloaded and we have constant short moments of power failures since yesterday!

Anyway... this gave me time to skive awhile, take myself away from the lifeless pricelists of products, so... its a good thing! Hehe.. I just finished reading mitch Aldom novel.. yes! u guess it...(or have u not? hmm...) "the 5 people you meet in heaven", during my lunch time at mos burger! Guess what? I teared!! So so embarass.. and i quickily packed my stuff and leave...

Hmmz.. lets do abit of book review ehz?
